My New Logo!

I decided to launch my brand new website and knew immediately that it needed a unique logo that encompasses everything my site will be about. A lot of blogs and websites lack that unique logo to set their site apart. And I didn't want that to happen to my blog. Therefore, I set out looking for services I could use for free, to create my needed logo.

I didn't have to search far. If you haven't heard about a very cool website called 'Canva', you have been missing out! Canva allows users to create their own images (to include logos) in a simple to use interface. I must preface this with the fact that you can not create images using just one of their premade images. The image must have a combination of items or some sort of edit, or you will be violating their terms. I also don't believe you can trademark any image, but im not entirely sure on that part.

I started off by creating a new item, 500x500 in size. I knew I wanted it to encompass all four areas that my blog would include (travel, money, tech, and privacy). I went with a circle design, and added my blog name in a circular pattern around the edges. Then I decided to search for image elements to add, locating some trees, a RV, some binoculars, and a mouse (not the animal, lol) image. All in all, it took me maybe 10-15 minutes to create a unique and cool looking logo that will identify the blog moving forward.
